Frances Annie Ada Molineux was born on July 6, 1892 in Aston, Warwickshire, England.
In 1915 she fell in love with a soldier who apparently died in WW1. They had a son,
Geoffery Ronald Molineux. Geoffery was born June
21, 1916 and died in April 1991.
Ada, as she was called, made at least two trips to the United States to visit her
parents. On August 23, 1930 she sailed from Manchester on the Pacific President.
She arrived in Los Angles 29 days later on September 21, 1930. On arrival she indicated
her age as 42 yrs. 8 mos. old and her last residence as Birmingham, England.
She sailed again in 1935 on the 25th of June from Manchester on the Pacific Reliance.
Ada arrived in Los Angeles 11 days later on June 6, again indicating her last residence
as Birmingham, England.
She later married Karl Maus. Ada was a member of a woman's auxiliary in Birmingham,
similar to the Red Cross.
Sometime between 1935 and 1964 Ada emigrated to the United States and resided in
the Los Angeles area. On October 26, 1986 Ada died in Los Angeles, California.
