Cecile Rose Denslow was born on the 27th day of January 1907 in Sioux Falls,
South Dakota. (view birth certificate). She had
one older sister, Ruth, who was 1-1/2 years old at the time. The family lived in Sious Falls for only a short time after
Cecile was born before moving west.
By April 21, 1910 Cecile is 3 years old and they were In Wibaux (Dawson County), Montana, living with cousin
Charley Aldrich. Their westward migration continues until they settle in a suburb of Los Angles, California.
Difficult times followed. During the next 10 years Cecile's parents divorce. By 1920 her father, Edward Simon, has moved
to Washington where he is married to Edith E (maiden name unknown). Cecile's mother, Gaynel 'Gypsy', marries Charles S. Jacobs and
resides in Los Angles County. Cecile's sister Ruth lives with her mother, 'Gypsy', and her step-father, Charles.
Cecile, now 12 years old, is placed in an orphanage in the Los Angeles area (Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent de Paul??). The
1920 Federal Census shows Cecile living at 134 W. Walnut, Monrovia, California, with two elderly women: M. E. Albertson (possibly Elma M.?), 85
years old, and Augusta Albertson, 57. Augusta is listed as daughter; Cecile as grandaughter.
On the 1st of January, 1925, Cecile married Thomas George Leslie Molineux in Walnut Gardens, California.

After her divorce from Thomas she remarried ???. She later changed her name to Cecile R. Rosebrook.
Cecile was 88 years old when she died at her home in Capistrano Beach, Orange County,
California, on May 20, 1995.
